PCORI Methodology Committee Meeting
PCORI’s Methodology Committee works to develop and update methodological standards for patient-centered outcomes research/comparative clinical effectiveness research (PCOR/CER) and to develop a translation framework to guide the choice of study designs for specific research questions. The Methodology Committee is a resource for PCORI and makes recommendations to the Board regarding methods for PCOR/CER.
This meeting provided an overview of PCORI's new governance framework for the Methodology Committee, and discuss how PCORI can best leverage the committee's expertise to inform several methods-related workstreams within PCORI as well as innovative methods to support PCORI's National Priorities for Health. This meeting was open to public via teleconference/webinar.
