PCORI Virtual Briefing on Suicide Prevention in Youth and Young Adults

The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) hosted a virtual briefing on suicide prevention with an emphasis on suicide in youth and young adults, which has been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

PCORI Executive Director Nakela L. Cook, MD, MPH, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), and Rep. Ashley Hinson (R-IA) provided pre-recorded introductory remarks, followed by a live expert panel discussion on the current state of suicide prevention and highlights of PCORI-funded research on the topic that can help inform public policy strategies to prevent suicide.
