Perspectives on Patient-Centered Value in Health and Healthcare: A PCORI Stakeholder Workshop
Through this workshop, a broad group of stakeholders — including patients, caregivers, clinicians, payers, purchasers, hospitals, health systems, the life sciences industry, researchers, funders, policymakers — provided input on opportunities and challenges around defining and measuring patient-centered value in health and healthcare. The overall goal of the workshop was to support PCORI's — and the broader healthcare community's — understanding of "patient-centered value" and how to address it in comparative clinical effectiveness research. Participation in the discussion was by invitation only, but the public was welcome to listen in via teleconference/webinar.
