The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) hosted its third Regional Engagement Workshop on November 7, 2013 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Power of Partnership in Research: Applying Patient-Centered Outcomes Research in Racial and Ethnic Minority Communities provided an opportunity for patients, researchers, and healthcare stakeholders to build relationships with like-minded individuals interested in clinical comparative effectiveness research. We welcomed patients, caregivers, and local healthcare leaders from New Mexico, Arizona, West Texas, Colorado, Nevada, and Utah to join us in building a patient-centered research community, to learn about PCORI, and guide us on how to conduct patient-centered clinical comparative effectiveness research. Attendance was limited to regional participants however, for those unable to attend the meeting, PCORI made all meeting materials and slides available after the workshop.
We enjoyed meeting you in Albuquerque!
