PCORI Board Considers Funding for Opioids, MS, Clot-Dissolving Drugs, and Depression
Research proposals on the comparative effectiveness of long-term opioid use for chronic pain, the blood clot dissolving drugs, therapies for multiple sclerosis, and strategies for treatment-resistant depression are among the studies that will be considered for funding by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Board of Governors at its next meeting. The Board will vote on funding awards for these and other proposed studies when it meets on Tuesday, July 19.
