PCORI Statement on Supreme Court Decision

With the Supreme Court’s decision upholding the constitutionality of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute will continue its planned efforts to fund research that will provide patients, caregivers and clinicians with the high-quality, trusted information they need to make better-informed health decisions. Congress gave PCORI a clear mandate through the law to do this, and we remain focused on our work in patient-centered and comparative clinical effectiveness research.
