Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Awards: Key Information and Updates (April 2016)
The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) hosted a webinar that provided an overview and key updates on the Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Awards program. This program was created to help patients and other key stakeholder communities become more meaningfully involved in the research process. Building on PCORI’s engagement work, awards made through the program often support and enhance the impact of PCORI’s major research awards.
Presenters shared information about the program and its components, provided a highlight of the current portfolio of awards, and reviewed the application process, including discussing examples of best practices among successful awardees. Part of the webinar was devoted to answering questions from attendees about the Engagement Awards program.
